Tom Caldwell had a 1920s Contemporary design aesthetic in mind when he created the Goletta Table Lamp. The geometric shape is made from a mix of textural travertine and smooth steel in an antique brass finish. The personality of the surface of the travertine stems from the fact that it is porous and has a variety of nooks and crannies in its pitting. Inherent variations in the stone's texture, veining, and color - from pale ivory to a warm tan - are to be expected and celebrated. Each surface is unique so no two are exactly alike. The shape of the bone linen shade perfectly echoes the scale of this table lamp.
