In mythology, Janus was the god responsible for dawn and dusk. For Bertil, who has always tried to capture light in his glass, this dual nature has become a character that he revisits time and again, searching for a conversation. The powerful contrast between raw and cut glass gives the sculpture its special magic.
Janus is handmade in Kosta, Sweden, and is available in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
